February Week 3 training update

Rupestrian goes for the Triumph!.jpg

SRC trainer Tim Vaughan today reported Rupestrian to be "in great shape and 100% on target for Cheltenham", where he will contest the Triumph Hurdle on Friday 19th March.

After the first forfeit stage, 51 of the original 77 entries remain, and with the confirmation stage next up just five days before the race, we'll have to wait for a couple of weeks to see which horses will be lining up in the Triumph, and which go for the Fred Winter instead.

Rupestrian is in great form and continues to show plenty of sparkle on the gallops, so though it's obviously a very big ask, at least he'll be going there in top form!

Elsewhere, Haling Park is just a couple of weeks away from a run according to trainer Gary Moore, although we'll be on the lookout for some good-ground options for her, as she clearly doesn't like the mud too much!
