Good Luck to Haling Park on Sunday, and to those that are going, you will have a great day, Uttoxeter is a great course and was my local track for years, wish I could go, but will be away on holiday, have fun everyone X
Good luck to Garrulous next week when will we know which jockeys we be available for the ride
All, when i saw Haling work out 10 days ago and talked to the lass riding her, the comment that I think was most telling was that Haling needs a jockey who can be firm yet really calming on her. Tim has done a brilliant job de-fizzing her at home but she is a nervous system ready to explode and we need her to do that slowly over 2 miles not on the way to the start or over the first 2 hurdles so who ever is on her neds to be calming her from the parade ring onwards.
None of the 3 jockies have ridden her on a course before, there is no doubt Richard is the best of the 3 jockeys, I have to admit to not knowing a lot about Sam Thomas, but Dean appears to be a very calming young man who may know Haling better.
Personally I'll be voting Dean but I leave you to make your own decisions but I think for this race its more important that she is keep calm all the way and finishes 6th and is then fully happy next time out and through the summer rather than getting upset at the course first time back out.
good luck at uttoxeter on sunday haling hope that tims work pays off also well done to erdeli very nice run first time out i am looking forward to seeing the summer jumping and hopefully get more new members to join up
Good luck to Haling on her first outing with Tim lets hope she can show some improvement and have a clear round, all the best for Garrulous too
