Rupestrian on target for the Cheltenham Festival!
Tim Vaughan has been very pleased with Rupestrian's progress since returning to training from a break and is looking forward to running the four-year-old son of Fantastic Light at the Cheltenham Festival in March.
The gallops at Tim's yard near Cowbridge were out of action for over a week in early January due to the cold snap, but they have been in use ever since and the horses are looking in excellent condition at present, and Tim is also getting some good results on the racecourse too, with 20% of his runners in the last week or so getting home in front!
With Rupestrian now back working as well as ever (Tim reported him to have 'worked all over' a 129-rated horse last week) there is a possibility he will have one run before going to Cheltenham, although that is yet to be confirmed.
Finally, the next gallops morning will take place on Thursday February 18th, with a visit to Tim Vaughan's yard followed by racing at Ffos Las in the afternoon.
