Eairsidh

Eairsidh
2015 bay gelding by Arcadio (GER) ex Inch Rose (IRE) (Eurobus (IRE))
An athletic, strong individual with plenty of class about him, Eairsidh (Gaelic for Archie, his stable name) boasts an exceptional National Hunt pedigree and is a tremendous prospect for 2021 and beyond.
A nice, hardy horse. He is a proper galloper. Harry Cobden, leading National Hunt jockey
He is a half-brother to two black-type performers, notably Listed hurdle & Irish Midlands National winner Phil’s Magic. The dam was herself a very useful performer, running just five times but going very close to Cheltenham Festival success when runner-up in the National Hunt Chase!
His sire Arcadio is very well-established and his progeny include the likes of 2020 Cheltenham Festival winner Simply The Betts, Grade 1 winner Hardline and exciting novice Bright Forecast.
He has been in training since July, went very nicely in a recent racecourse gallop in November and has since had a run for experience in a bumper at Southwell. He will make his hurdling debut in January 2021.
Please note: Membership is restricted to 60 members per horse.

Benefits include the following:
- Stable visits
Join us for some stable visits with a difference. After a champagne reception, enjoy a tour of the yard, see the horses in work, and return to the yard to chat with other members over breakfast. Visits will start in the spring, subject to COVID restrictions. - Regular Training reports, photos and videos
We keep members updated at all times, both with training reports, photos and videos from the gallops, and race plans, entries and declarations for all the horses. Everything is sent by email (normally 2-3 times a week), though members are welcome to call for an update whenever suits. - Owners badges on racedays
A badge is guaranteed, either free of charge or at a discounted rate, every time the horse runs. On the vast majority of racedays, this will be an owners badge, so it will allow entry to the paddock (to meet the trainer, jockey and other members)...and the winners’ enclosure! - Equal share of all prize-money won
You’ll receive your full share of all prize-money won by your horse during the syndicate term. This will be paid out at the end of the term, or can be used towards the renewal of your share should you prefer. - Complimentary Welcome Pack
To start you off, we’ll send you a welcome pack including a Select Racing enamel badge, A4 colour photos of your horse and a welcome letter including all the information on your horse, all sent to you in a smart Select Racing presentation folder. - Select Racing Guarantee
Racehorses can be fragile animals and, sadly, injuries can sometimes occur. However, as an owner with Select Racing, you will automatically be offered a free transfer into another SRC horse (or have your membership term extended at no extra cost) if your horse is injured or doesn’t run at least three times during your syndicate term. - Buying as a gift?
Just pop their name in the 'additional information' section when you place your order and we'll ensure the paperwork is in the lucky recipient's name (but sent to you, unless you tell us otherwise!).
Ali & Sam Stronge
Though the training licence is under former event rider Ali’s name, this burgeoning training operation based at Castle Piece Stables in Eastbury is very much a partnership, together with husband and ex-National Hunt jockey Sam.
With nearly 100 winners so far, Castle Piece Stables has seen a significant increase in capacity and Ali & Sam now have over 35 horses in training for 2021. With the use of private gallops, as well as all the facilities that Lambourn has to offer, it is a wonderful setting in which to train and we are delighted to have an involvement in the yard.
