Master Dancer has Chepstow aim

Master Dancer is back in full work and would be ready to run next week, but there isn’t anything for him then and that, together with a weather forecast that is pointing to rain next week, has led to a change of plan!

As there isn’t a suitable race on the flat for him to have a prep run for Cheltenham and given we don’t want to wait the best part of a month to go straight there, Tim and I had a discussion on plans yesterday and have decided to enter him in the Silver Trophy at Chepstow on Saturday 13th October.

A £50,000 handicap hurdle, run over an extended two miles and three furlongs, it is at a track where Master Dancer is already a dual winner on the flat and he is well worth trying in that sort of company.

The likelihood is that we would then miss Cheltenham’s October meeting, but instead head to the November meeting.
