Master Dancer entered up

Master Dancer has been entered at Chepstow and Kempton Park on Saturday and at Ayr on Monday.

The 2m5f contest at Kempton Park has attracted 25 entries and remains a strong option, but after speaking with Tim yesterday, we were both keen to give him an entry in the Pertemps Qualifier at Chepstow (27 entries), as he goes well at the track and I feel he could well find further improvement for a step up in trip.

I’ve also put him in a 2m4.5f, 0-140 handicap hurdle at Ayr on Monday which closed today, in which there are 13 entries.  We’ll have a look through, but I’d say it is the least likely of the trio.

Master Dancer’s participation this weekend will depend on how he works tomorrow morning and, if he goes well, we’ll scope him and if that is fine too, he’ll run in one of the three races.

Looking further ahead, I gave him entries this morning in the Coral Cup and the Pertemps Final at the Cheltenham Festival.  He would need to win this weekend to have any chance of getting in, but if not, we will be qualified for the 2m5f Silver Plate at Kempton Park on Saturday 17th March.
