Master Dancer going very well

Tim MasterDancer.131134couldn’t be happier with our Cheltenham hero Master Dancer, who looks in fine form on the gallops at home as we work towards his reappearance later this month.

The hot weather shows no sign of stopping and that is my one concern for MD, as I am not keen on running him on quick summer ground.

However, we’ll need to get him started at some point and, if we are ready to go towards the end of July, then Sandown Park on the 25th is probably the best place to start.  A 66-85 handicap over 1m6f looks perfect.

Looking further ahead, I’d like to try him in a nice race and he could just squeeze in at the bottom of the weights for the Colwick Cup at Nottingham on 17th August; a 0-95 handicap over 1m6f, it’s worth £35,000 and is therefore something to consider very seriously!
